This Privacy Policy applies to the Sofra mobile application (the “App”), published by Zia-e-akhtar Apps (“we”, “us”). It also applies to our other apps that state they are covered by this policy and that collect no personal data.
We do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal data. The App has no accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics. It works fully offline.
None. We do not ask for, collect, or transmit any personal information such as your name, email address, contacts, location, or device identifiers. Your favourites, notes, shopping list, and settings are stored only on your device and never leave it.
The App works without an internet connection. Approximately once a month it quietly checks a public file hosted on GitHub for new recipe content. This is a standard, anonymous HTTPS request. Like any web request, the hosting provider (GitHub) can see your device’s IP address for the purpose of delivering the file. We do not receive, log, or store your IP address or any other data from this request, and no personal information is sent. If the check fails, the App simply continues with the recipes already on your device.
The App is suitable for all ages and does not collect any data from anyone, including children.
We do not currently integrate any analytics SDKs. The only external contact is the anonymous recipe-content request to GitHub described above, which is subject to GitHub’s own privacy practices. If a future version of the App adds third-party services (for example, advertising), this policy and the App’s store listing will be updated before that version is released, as described below.
Calorie values shown in the App are rough estimates for general information only and are not medical, nutritional, or dietary advice.
If we change how the App handles data (for example, if a future version introduces advertising), we will update this policy and the App’s store listing before that version is released.
